Shanghai to Australia

A pretty unexciting journey. Managed to spend most of it asleep. Getting through the Asda food mountain but I think it's beaten us.

There was a worrying moment earlier on in the journey when the cabin crew asked if there was a doctor on board. Thought we were going to have to turn around and go back. Apparently there wasn't much wrong with the patient as the doctor was soon back eating his aeroplane dinner.

We've flown across the land from Northern Australia down to Sydney. Clear skies a lot of the way. The landscape is so different to home. The land looks so red. Think we saw some flood as we flew over the Northern coast, but might have just been the sea!

I'm writing this on the plane with about an hour and a half to go until we land. We can't wait to get off and stretch out. And get away from the large amount of disgusting men who have been spitting during the flight.

Finally made it to Kim's apartment via a taxi like anywhere else in the world... bad driving, grumpy and overpriced... just like being back home
